It’s happened to everyone. You go to use a public restroom, minding your own business, when you unsuspectingly see/hear one of the most vile acts possible.
A person flushes the toilet, exits their stall, and promptly walks out, completely bypassing the sinks.

Please wash your hands!
Now, there may be a select few people who, for some reason or another, choose to use their own hand sanitizer instead of the sinks. But I doubt there’s very many of them.
Honestly though, how can you get all the way to college and still not wash your hands after you use the restroom? Not only is it healthier for you, but it’s healthier for everyone else around you. The Mayo Clinic has several handy lists about handwashing, including how to properly wash your hands/use a hand sanitizer, and when you should be washing them.

Antibacterials no longer have to be boring.
If you do find yourself in an unfortunate situation where you are unable to wash your hands for any reason (no sink, out of soap, sneezing on the bus, etc) it’s always a good idea to carry a hand sanitizer. You can find several sizes of sanitizers at your local Target or Wal-Mart. Bath and Body Works also offers several alternatives to the generic alcohol-smelling Purell, including antibacterial lotions, foaming cleansers, regular cleansers, and spray cleansers, all in their signature scents.
Especially considering we’re entering cold and flu season, please please please wash your hands everyone, I’m pretty sure that not many of us want to/have time to get sick right now
Ew, no. It’s already germy from those fools who don’t wash at all. I’m actually sanitizing myself against them.

It’s kinda sad that so many people still don’t wash their hands after using a restroom. I always carry my sanitizer with me and use it more often than the soap/water technique. Gotta admit, though, I always wonder what other people think when they see me walk out without stopping at the sink… that’s why I try to make habit of carrying the sanitizer *as* I’m walking out. =D
